Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position. Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies. Attendance/punctuality is consistently at work and on time. Knowledgeable in the areas of mold and tool making. Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks. Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faulty or damaged tooling. Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of parts to determine tool specifications and tolerances. Keep presses operational. Perform preventative maintenance on molds. Restore damaged surfaces and re-machines to specifications. Reassemble, test, and adjust tooling. Perform slide changes. Check water flow on higher volume tooling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (continued) Perform other repairs, corrections, and engineering changes to molds as requested by Production Tooling Manager.
