Mold Repair Specialist
About The Position
The Mold Repair Specialist will:Responsible for in plant mold repair, modifications and mold inspection of PLT, PCT and CVT molds. Mold transferring and shipping preparation. Data verification. Ability to work closely with internal and external people.Repair and modification of tire molds (PLT, PCT and CVT)Inspect incoming molds according company standards and given formsPerform jobs for mold transfers, inspect mold for matching numbers, packing and transferring molds to appropriate locations for shipment.Relocating / storing of released molds to designated areas.Record all mold movements in mold locator and SAP.Mold Repair Specialist will follow all plant rules, departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures , including being familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS)Mold Repair Specialist will operate forklift type Mold handling equipment utilizing and observing proper safety regulations.Ensure area is kept clean and orderlyPerform other duties as directed by the Mold Lead Supervisor or Mold Services Manager.
Requirements
- Associates degree. or 3 years mechanical experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
