JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: · Operate an injection molding machine, BHB machines and auxiliary equipment on a daily basis. · Perform all secondary operations such as milling, heat stake, trimming, welder, and pad printing. · Inspect parts using the customer’s quality standards. · Understand and use job binder documents, i.e., molding instruction sheets, set-up sheets, material components list, quality criteria, etc. · Complete mold press operator documents such as, quota sheets and quality control charts. · Assist material handler in the operation of the material loading system, material verification, cleaning hoppers, changeovers, activating the material system control and material movement. · Perform visual and functional inspections, reading metric and standard measurements, using fixtures and gauges, reading calipers and part prints. · Interact with supervisors, lead person, quality assurance, mold setter, material handler and other members of the mold shop department. · Effective use of department terminology.
