About The Position

As a Mold Operator at Neenah Foundry, you will play a key role in our metal casting process by operating and maintaining molding equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality molds used in the manufacturing of iron castings. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work in hot, noisy environments and wear proper PPE.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor molding machines to produce molds according to specifications.
• Prepare and inspect mold components for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure molds are properly filled, aligned, and finished.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of molding equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment issues.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
