About The Position

Mold Operator role will set up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions. Primary function is to maintain the operation of all molding presses within the molding department. Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification. Perform all quality, inspection operations and routing systems as stated on the Work Order. Perform “All” packaging operations including bagging, boxing. Box and bag production, keep track of quantities boxed Follow intermediate drawings and procedures. Ability to read blue prints, use measuring tools and perform required Quality functions per Work Orders. Perform work with limited to no supervision. Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 1-3 years with Manufacturing Environment experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Detailed knowledge of Aerospace product, manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders.
  • 2-3 years' experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations
  • Ability to use calculators.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools.
  • Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown.
  • Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts.
