Requirements

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to design and develop tools and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate various machining equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and grinders
• Utilize hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair tools
• Perform CAM programming for CNC machines
• Conduct electrical discharge machining (EDM) for tool fabrication
• Operate stamping presses to create tool components
• Inspect finished tools using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and improve tool designs
