About The Position

Join the MOKA team at our vibrant drive-through-based coffee shops where we prioritize customer connection and community engagement. MOKA is hiring enthusiastic, positive, and customer-focused baristas to join our team at our La Crosse, West ave location. Full or part time positions available. As a barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, building relationships with customers, and working in a collaborative, team-focused environment. The ideal candidate for this job is an individual that will be around during the remainder of fall/winter 2025 and also be in the La Crosse Area for the spring/summer months of 2026 and looking to work a minimum of 20 hours/week with weekend availability and up to 35+ hours/week with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Ensure consistent quality in every cup, paying attention to details such as temperature, presentation, and taste
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting customers with their orders, and offering recommendations
• Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, while following safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular cleaning of equipment and restocking supplies
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive work environment
