About The Position
MohsPros is an on-site laboratory service company that specializes in providing highly skilled technicians to process frozen skin specimens for dermatologic surgeons. As a Mohs Histotechnician, you will play a crucial role in the surgical outcomes for skin cancer patients by mounting thin layers of skin on slides for microscopic examination. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to be part of a dedicated team and are committed to making a difference in the lives of patients. In this position, you will work as an apprentice under experienced team members, gaining hands-on experience in Mohs Surgery and the processing of skin cancer specimens. The role requires a flexible schedule, as you will primarily be based in San Mateo and San Francisco counties, with additional travel required once a week. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess good hand-eye coordination, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. You will also need to interact professionally with doctors, staff, and patients, showcasing your problem-solving skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
