About The Position
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail -oriented Mohs Surgeon to join our dermatologic surgery team. The ideal candidate will be board -certified in dermatology with fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Dermatology
- Fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region
- Proficiency in interpreting frozen section pathology
- Strong manual dexterity and surgical precision
Responsibilities
- Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer treatment
- Interpret histologic slides during surgery to ensure complete cancer removal
- Conduct pre -operative evaluations and post -operative follow -ups
- Collaborate with dermatologists, pathologists, and plastic surgeons
- Educate patients about procedures, risks, and recovery
- Stay updated on advancements in dermatologic and Mohs surgery
