About The Position

Apple is looking for a Module Process Engineer to join Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team! We are responsible for developing new innovative manufacturing process technologies to solve complex design challenges that have a direct impact to future products, quality and delivery of Apple Displays & Touch technology. The individual in this role will serve as a focal point in the process development of advanced key process modules from the concept/architecture stage through product engineering validation builds! We work at a fast pace and require everyone to be highly motivated. A successful candidate needs to be a flexible thinker and be able to problem solve outside of their respective technical area.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in leading a project from early development to high volume production.
• Experience in the development of module processes and integration in back-end processes.
• Experience in DOE, data analysis, or SPC control.
• Experience in failure mode analysis and root cause investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Physics, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• Project Management Skills.
• Excellent data handling, documentation, and organization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability for international business travel to support project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new innovative manufacturing process technologies.

• Integrate module processes in back-end processes of Flat Panel Display & Touch industry.
