You will lead the design, optimization, and development of innovative manufacturing solutions, enabling Intel to maintain its position at the forefront of semiconductor technology. This position allows you to influence cutting-edge device architectures, enhance production efficiency, and contribute to the creation of cost-sensitive technology roadmaps. Across your journey, you will collaborate with industry-leading suppliers and partners to integrate new materials and equipment solutions that will propel Intel's technology roadmap forward.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess any of the following:
  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields with with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in semiconductor processing, system controls, mechanical systems, or opto-mechanics.
  • Proficiency in process characterization, statistical process control, and manufacturing process improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and manage priorities effectively.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Python or MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor device fabrication processes, including lithography, etch, film deposition, and cleaning techniques.
  • Adaptability, collaboration, and enthusiasm for advancing Intel's technology goals.
  • Technical expertise in process integration and equipment metrology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced manufacturing processes and solutions, including material selection, equipment metrology, and system optimization.
  • Drive feasibility studies and pathfinding activities for cutting-edge device architectures and manufacturing roadmaps.
  • Design and implement modifications to enhance equipment performance, optimize production efficiency, and elevate manufacturing techniques.
  • Collaborate with equipment and materials suppliers to establish and implement enabling technology solutions.
  • Conduct theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods to validate process technology feasibility.
  • Maintain awareness of industrial and technical trends to align Intel's processes with evolving semiconductor needs.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to create and execute cost-effective technology development roadmaps.
