About The Position

You will join a diverse team of junior and experienced engineers managing metrology tools and processes in a dynamic semiconductor environment, while serving as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external customers, and field service engineers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: You will drive day-to-day operational excellence by ensuring optimal team coverage, meeting established KPIs, and implementing efficiency enhancement initiatives, while simultaneously leading long-term strategic projects including customer collaborations, tool installations, and internal improvements with systematic follow-up protocols. Your role encompasses maintaining rigorous standards for data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation, staying current with emerging scientific developments in metrology, contributing to technology roadmaps and capacity planning, and collaborating cross-functionally to strategically position both your team and the fabrication facility for future technological challenges and opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of industry/semiconductor metrology experience -OR - Master's Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of industry/semiconductor metrology experience -OR- PhD Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ years of industry/semiconductor metrology experience
  • Industry/semiconductor metrology experience must include: Hands on experience with one of the Metrology Dimensional Tools including ellipsometry, X-ray metrology, Optical/WLI thin film measurement, and AFM
  • Function effectively as a collaborative team member while adapting to shifting business priorities
  • Display initiative and accountability in taking responsibility for outcomes
  • Demonstrate flexibility in supporting evolving organizational requirements
  • Possess exceptional English language proficiency for effective communication
  • Successfully operate within multicultural, fast-moving team settings

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrate solid technical expertise in in-line process metrology or closely related fields
  • Show proficiency with metrology technologies including ellipsometry, X-ray metrology, Optical/WLI thin film measurement, and AFM
  • Hands-on experience with these measurement techniques
  • Understand the critical technical challenges facing semiconductor technology and the demanding environment of semiconductor fabrication facilities
