About The Position

The Module Estimator will prepare cost estimating services for the preparation of bids and projects to support Structural assembly and fabrication. Ensures all costs are properly captured and documented.

Requirements

Associate’ or Bachelor’ degree in relevant field or relevant work experience.
Typically has 2-5 years’ relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing detailed estimates in accordance with the scope of work.
Conducts bid review meeting with the Manager of Estimating, Project Manager, and/or business line management to finalize bid, markup, and strategies.
Communicate with module team to develop subcontract packages.
Manage bid pricing from subcontractors.
Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes.
Ensure timely completion of estimates.
Understand all scopes of work and price accordingly.
Applies basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work.
Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area.
Ability to work in teams or as an individual.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
