About The Position

As a Modern Workplace Engineer you can expect to… Implementation, configuration, technical support and management of Microsoft 365 solutions such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and OneDrive for our clients. Deploy and manage device and application configurations using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune). Configure and manage Azure Active Directory, including user provisioning, identity governance, and single sign-on. Provide hands-on support for issues related to modern workplace tools, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with collaboration platforms, device management, and endpoint security: resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 services. Create and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, processes, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Implement security policies, including conditional access, data loss prevention (DLP), and mobile device management (MDM). Implement and manage security and compliance policies for Microsoft 365. Migrate on-premises workloads to Microsoft 365. Assist with any licensing discussions that include Microsoft 365, Power Automate, or Azure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive.
  • Proven experience migrating from Google and Slack platforms.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and identity management.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Microsoft 365 certifications such as MS-500, MD-100, MD-101 are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of business process analysis, optimization, and automation principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong client-facing skills, empathy, and ability to guide clients through challenging problems.
  • The drive and self-sufficiency to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
  • Ability to create automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell and Power Automate.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Endpoint Manager technologies and best practices.
