About The Position

The Modern Work Sales Specialist at Microsoft is responsible for empowering customers through digital transformation by leveraging Microsoft cloud solutions. This role focuses on engaging with customers to identify their business objectives and drive significant customer value through consultative sales strategies. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and partners to facilitate the transition to a hybrid work environment, ensuring that customers maximize their employee experience and productivity using Microsoft technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
• 2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in State and Local Government (SLG) accounts.
• Knowledge of Copilot.
• Experience working with partners.

Responsibilities

• Engage in conversations with customers to introduce digital transformation solutions aligned with their industry.
• Collaborate with team members to discover new sales opportunities.
• Drive incremental revenue growth through personal campaigns and internal sources.
• Build relationships with customers via social selling and apply Microsoft's sales process to qualify opportunities.
• Identify customer business needs and technical readiness, proposing prioritized solutions that align with those needs.
• Collaborate with partners to cross-sell and up-sell products, solutions, and services.
• Research competitor products and implement strategies to position Microsoft effectively against them.
• Manage the end-to-end business of the assigned territory, conducting forecasting and developing a territory plan.
