About The Position
Haverhill Public Schools is seeking a Moderate Disabilities ELA Teacher for Greenleaf Academy. This position is anticipated to open for the 2025-2026 school year. The teacher will be responsible for providing direct services to children in integrated and pullout settings as determined by IEPs, developing modifications to assist students in regular classrooms, and participating as a member of the evaluation team when appropriate. The teacher will also evaluate children referred for special education services, train educational support personnel, and work cooperatively with other personnel and parents. The position requires a sound knowledge of subject matter and pedagogy, the ability to design units of instruction, and the capacity to assess student learning effectively.
