About The Position

SAIC's Horizon program is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force's mission of delivering warfighter capability via the Space Systems Command's Program Executive Office for Space Combat Power. This position is located in El Segundo, California. The successful candidate will contribute expertise in simulation as a member of a fast-paced multidisciplinary mission operations modeling, simulation, and analysis team. This role involves guiding the team in assembling and releasing an ever-growing portfolio of space mission operations analysis simulations and trade studies. Requirements

Expertise in simulation as an established modeling and simulation developer
Background and interest in simulation development

Responsibilities

Be a member of a fast-paced multidisciplinary mission operations modeling, simulation, and analysis team informing the United States Space Force acquisition decision process.
Develop and test simulation applications, integrating mission simulation tools into an automated system-level trade study execution architecture.
Define requirements, specify designs, and implement an ever-growing portfolio of space mission operations analysis simulations and trade studies.
