From designing tools for system integration to conducting mission-level analyses, we deliver flexible, customer-focused results that span sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations. We are currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Systems Engineer II to join our Concept of Operations (CONOPS) Analysis section—a team that drives the development of next-generation CONOPS for advanced systems. This is an onsite role based in Woburn, MA, or Tewksbury, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience modeling and/or simulating physical systems.
  • Experience with with programming tools like MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of system engineering life-cycle models.
  • Experience in data analysis, statistics, and conducting studies with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with CONOPS, system tradeoffs, threat definitions, and system-of-systems assessments.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills to deliver credible solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mission modeling and simulation solutions to support trade studies and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze and solve complex computational challenges.
  • Evaluate end-to-end system needs, including interfaces and data connectivity requirements across entire kill-chains.
  • Analyze performance data and develop metrics to validate architectures against mission requirements.
  • Contribute to shaping future technological advancements through innovative algorithms and next-generation system-of-systems performance enhancements.
