Requirements

  • Must have active and current Secret Clearance upon application.
  • Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming with a focus on C++, and experience in scripting with Bash, Python, and Matlab.
  • Experience utilizing job schedulers like SLURM or PBS.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with GNC algorithms for hypersonic missiles.
  • Experience with IR discrimination and tracking.
  • Create CI/CD Pipelines - able to automate simulation runs and post processing.
  • Experience running 6DOF/3DOF simulations on HPC cluster for modeling vehicle trajectory and performance.
  • Familiarity with state estimation and state propagation techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains.
  • Integrate algorithms seamlessly into the vehicle's flight software and collaborate with software and hardware teams.
  • Modify or write new scripts to capture customers' requirements for measuring vehicle performance.
  • Design, develop, and validate modeling and simulation frameworks for aerospace vehicles and components.
  • Enhance simulation fidelity and incorporate advanced modeling techniques to support system analysis and decision-making.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of simulation models - identify and resolve discrepancies between simulated and real-world performance metrics.
  • Gather, post process, and analyze vast amounts of complex data.
  • Verify and validate performance results to ensure the simulation matches intended results.
