About The Position

Using your skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and system analysis, you’ll work alongside software development engineers, simulator operators, and tactical subject matter experts to integrate synthetic training environment applications supporting Joint Fires missions. You'll use tools like Modern Air Combat Environment, Virtual Reality Scene Generator, and other DIS based protocol systems to plan, organize, and conduct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion. In this role, you’ll impact simulated combat operations by developing systems and associated architecture in support of virtual mission rehearsal. Requirements

  • Experience with a variety of COTS and GOTS M&S and data science tools, including Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE), Mission Object Configuration Tool (MOCT), Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG), or Image Generators (IG).
  • Knowledge of combat weapons systems, including aircraft, ground-based radars, and Surface-to-Air systems.
  • Ability to assist in guiding the selection or integration of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools.
  • Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with developing AFSIM scripts to customize model behaviors and configurations within a virtual scenario.
  • Knowledge of scenario development and performing analytical assessments of combat weapon systems using Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) simulation tools.
  • Ability to distill, summarize, and articulate complex technical insights and findings related to model library management and dissemination.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
