As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Senior, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in national security. Requirements
- 11+ years of experience in modeling and simulation within a defense or national security environment
- Experience with computational analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, multi-physics modeling, or agent-based modeling
- Experience with software development and coding in languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB, or Java
- Experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Experience with WMD assessment methodologies, underground facility analysis, and counter-proliferation technologies
- Knowledge of DoD mission planning tools and intelligence data fusion
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or CS field
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI/ML integration into modeling and simulation workflows
- Experience in vulnerability analysis and kinetic or non-kinetic defeat mechanisms for WMD targets
- Experience with tools such as Ansys, Ansys STK, IMEA or similar modeling software
- Experience working with DIA UFAC or related agencies
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Master's degree in an engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or CS field
