About The Position

This role is part of Lenovo's Global Future Leaders Program which engages high-achieving, driven students by immersing them into the world of a global technology powerhouse. In your first three years, you will participate in a cross-border/cross-organization rotation to engage with key stakeholders, gain deep insight into our organization, and develop comprehensive leadership skills while making a global impact. In this Global Future Leader Role, you will be part of our Advanced AI Technical Center (AAITC) leading a small prototyping team, which will build and test various AI applications across Lenovo's business units. Working closely with product teams, business units, and developers, you will provide clear model insights, prototype records, and paths for further development. You will accelerate validation by transforming model concepts into business-ready prototypes efficiently.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Knowledge of machine learning principles, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with large language models, transformer architectures, and related concepts.
• Experience with data processing tools and techniques.
• Experience working with Android, Windows, and Linux systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience through relevant internships (or FT) in the technology sector.
• Technical degrees in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering, master's degree or MBA are also preferred.
• Leadership experience in school, work, internship, and/or community.
