Model-Based Systems Engineer (Associate - Mid Level)
About The Position
For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Model-Based Systems Engineer . This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to supporting NAVWAR’s Systems of Systems engineering competency and Technical/Certification Authority. You will help ensure the capabilities delivered to the Fleet are technically sound, resilient, interoperable, and compliant with DoD and DON policy, requirements, architectures, and standards. What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in MBSE and systems analysis such as: Ability to apply modeling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation across the acquisition lifecycle Skill in producing reports and artifacts to support NAVWAR engineering and certification activities Experience coordinating information and resources to meet digital engineering objectives Familiarity with SysML/UML and MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with SysML/UML and MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field
Responsibilities
- Ability to apply modeling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation across the acquisition lifecycle
- Skill in producing reports and artifacts to support NAVWAR engineering and certification activities
