The Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) provides technical leadership and expertise in the application of Model-Based Systems Engineering methods to design, analyze, and optimize Department of Defense systems. This position leverages advanced MBSE tools, techniques, and frameworks to create digital representations of complex systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing system lifecycle management. As a subject matter expert, the MBSE Engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system designs meet mission-critical requirements, integrate seamlessly with existing platforms, and comply with DoD standards and security protocols. This role requires an active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility due to the highly classified nature of system development and operations. This role is 100% onsite at NASIC (National Air and Space Intelligence Center) located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, Ohio.
