About The Position
Novant Health is seeking a PRN Mobility Technician. As a Mobility Technician you will provide and document assistance to patients with mobility including transfers and ambulation, comfort measures, and maintain a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Mobility Tech Supervisor. You will work in collaboration with the Nursing Team, communicating with nursing prior to and following patient mobility activities. Your role will assist in the provision of safe mobilization in a manner to promote the patient's functional ability and lead to improved quality of life. Additionally, you will complete assigned, routine, non-treatment activities, which are pre-determined for each patient by the Mobility Tech program to maintain function and assist with mobility.
