Position Overview: Lead a global sales and operations team focused on delivering best of breed partner technology into the Blue Yonder customer base. The role requires ability to strategize and work with 3rd party technology and internal leadership to define, price, and deliver value. Strategic partners include Honeywell, Zebra, Locus Robotics, Panasonic, and Zetes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a technology or supply chain-focused company.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive sales initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the supply chain management industry and market dynamics.
  • Ability to operate multiple functions while achieving key performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including some international travel
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Understanding of supply chain management solutions and related technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and AI-driven technologies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy focused on reselling mobility hardware, 3rd party software, and forward looking automation that complement Blue Yonder's core offerings.
  • Identifying strategic business opportunities to maximize revenue and enhance market penetration.
  • Articulating a clear value proposition, both internally and customer focused, of integrating 3rd party products with Blue Yonder's software.
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with key accounts, ensuring superior customer service and successful solution deployment.
  • Conducting in-depth market research to uncover trends and emerging needs, providing strategic insights to refine product offerings continually.
  • Leading a proactive sales team is essential, with a focus on mentorship, sales objectives achievement, and competency development in selling integrated solutions.
  • Effective collaboration with the product development, marketing, and technical teams ensures seamless integration and sales alignment.
  • Utilizing data analytics, the director monitors sales performance, prepares forecasts, and adapts strategies to stay competitive, while remaining informed on innovations in mobility and automation to propose strategic adaptations in sales approaches and product offerings.
  • Spearhead business operations, including but not limited to orders and invoices, renewals, and partner management.
