As a Mobile Wound Care Physical Therapist (PT), you’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team, enhance your clinical skills, and advance your career in holistic, mobile wound care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy (PT) program.
• Active, unencumbered PT license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred (home health/wound care ideal).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Expert in wound management, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication.
• Independent, organized, tech-savvy, and culturally competent.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in wound care or lymphedema is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Train patients in safe ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting) to promote independence and wound protection.
• Administer Wound Mist Therapy and perform skilled lymphedema assessment/treatment.
• Deliver compression therapies and manual lymphatic drainage when needed.
• Make home safety assessments and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications.
• Educate patients and caregivers on skin care, infection prevention, and self-management.
• Collaborate with therapists, providers, and case managers to optimize patient care.
• Document all care accurately in the EHR.
• Travel locally to patient homes or care settings as required.
