About The Position

The position involves performing activities related to the transportation of patients and hospital-related groups to PPMH for various locations outside of the hospital. The role may also include duties of a transporter-mould tech. Essential functions include documentation, technology and equipment use, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. The employee is expected to maintain current knowledge in their area of responsibility, attend staff meetings, and demonstrate competency in providing care to all patients based on their needs. Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as appropriate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED - Required
• No experience (entry-level) - experience in a patient care setting - Preferred
• Organizational Skills

• Driver’s license - Required

Responsibilities

• Documents and submits required information and data in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrates technical skill in using equipment appropriate for the role.
• Maintains equipment in working order and troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
• Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization.
• Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility.
• Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements.
• Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients.
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
