Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Changing of air filters in spaces where no fans or machinery are in operation. General cleaning of engineering spaces. Cleaning and painting of no-operating mechanical equipment, which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by a Journeyman Engineer. Perform general laborer work as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer, such as loading, unloading and moving materials, and running errands for the Engineering Department. Lamp replacement and cleaning of fixtures. This does not include repair or replacement of fixtures, electric cords, outlets or ballasts. Furniture moving, modular systems breakdown and set-up. Preventative Maintenance in all restrooms. Assist Journeyman Engineers whenever needed.
