Fleet Mobile Maintenance serves several markets in the Southeast corridor of Michigan, including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Lansing, and Flint. We also have technicians serving customers in Indianapolis, Cleveland, Louisville, and Nashville.We are a passionate team who strive to be the best service providers in the country. Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven trailer repair experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 100+ lbs.
  • Basic computer skills for repair order submission.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must provide own tools and have reliable transportation.
  • Needs to have or be able to obtain a valid Chauffer's license

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience/certification.
  • Technical school degree or training.
  • Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial trailers on-site.
  • Perform mobile road calls and in-yard service, completing detailed work orders.
  • Inspect, service, and repair trailer bodies, systems, and components.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers.
  • Repair and replace hubs, axles, brakes, tires, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform welding/fabrication and other structural repairs.
  • Ensure all equipment meets DOT safety and compliance requirements.
  • Document repairs, inspections, and findings for management and billing.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to client needs.
