About The Position

Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Technician. This position is based out of our Service Center facility in Oakland with travel throughout the East Bay, operating out of a mobile maintenance van. The Mobile Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. This position offers an hourly wage of $24.00 / hour and requires a valid California drivers license. The Service Center is located at 165 98th Ave, Oakland, CA with scheduled shifts starting and ending at this address. This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test as required under the Federal Transit Administration.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Previous technician/mechanical experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to work the following shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels at various field locations
  • Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines at various field locations
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
  • Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
  • Perform daily inventory checks to ensure proper stock levels of necessary supplies, including tires, oil, and lubricants
  • Manage proper disposal of used items, including old oil, filters, and other automotive waste, in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Refill new oil and properly dispose of used oil on a daily basis, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform all job functions outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, with a willingness to adapt to varying environmental challenges
  • Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
  • Maintain safe and clean work area
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
