About The Position
The Mobile Specimen Collection Specialist is responsible for collection of patient specimens in client offices. Specimens collected to include nasal swabs, urine samples, and blood draws. At times specimen collection may entail picking up other bodily specimens from the facilities in an assigned route. Ensuring integrity of the specimen, obtaining accompanying patient information, shipping specimens, to the laboratory, entering patient information into EMR, or LIS system as needed. Requesting missing patient information from the clinic staff, correcting processing errors and other general office tasks as deemed necessary by Field Operations Supervisor of LTC.
