About The Position

The Mobile/Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient donor flow, determining donor acceptability, performing sterile venipuncture for blood collection, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures throughout the donation process. This position oversees and assigns responsibilities to collections staff, and may be involved in staff processes such as interviews, discipline, performance reviews, hiring, and terminations. The supervisor will effectively and discreetly solve personnel and donor problems, address procedural or behavioral issues, and make reports to management. Additionally, the Mobile/Site Supervisor will attend and complete annual leadership and development training, mentor new hires, and may participate in special projects or programs. Regular full-time attendance is required during operational hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years general work experience, preferably working with the public.
  • Customer service experience required; intern and/or externship experience will satisfy this requirement.
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Previous Phlebotomy 2, blood banking experience, or medical field experience.
  • Background in a highly regulated industry.
  • Bilingual skills and CDL driver license are a plus.
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and positive with the ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
  • Detail-oriented in document reviews, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
