Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a fundamental understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and use of office equipment.
  • Must have the ability to use computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices.
  • Must have appropriate typing skills and a thorough understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Google is also preferred.
  • Must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Must act with unyielding integrity and honesty in business transactions, promote company policies, and hold self and other employees accountable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Daily Shop Duties including various administrative plant duties as required by the shop manager.
  • Maintain field mechanic receipts and code to correct cost center and work order.
  • Create V-Commerce requisitions / purchase orders as needed to support the Mobile Shop Buyer.
  • Collaborate with the Mobile Shop Manager to plan and document the daily schedule of work orders for all shifts.
  • Maintain Shop Records including training records/data, safety documentation, vacation time, and operational records.
  • Prepare Correspondence Reports as required/requested by the manager.
  • Prepare Monthly Financial Information including month-end closing information for accounting and detailed analyses of monthly margin and cost statements.
  • Reconcile time cards for all plant personnel, ensuring correct hours are reported and paid.
  • Serve as Plant Contact by receiving guests and answering phones, directing questions or problems to the appropriate individual.
  • Maintain correct levels of inventory for all plant and office materials, ordering new materials when appropriate.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, manuals, and forms.
  • Work with the division Human Resources department to handle personnel requests and problems.
  • Work with the division Safety department handling safety and environmental issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
