Mobile Service Technician
About The Position
Lynch Ford in Mukwonago is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Mobile Service Technician. This is one of the most vital and influential positions in the service department. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of service repair experience, and carry active certifications (preferably Ford certifications, but not required). Our Ford Mobile Service technician will drive and maintain a fully stocked (parts and tools) Ford transit van to perform regularly scheduled maintenance, light service repairs, diagnosis, and recalls, off-site at our client’s place of residence or work. The technician will interact with clients at each visit, perform requested work, as well as a complimentary vehicle inspection. The technician will be responsible for interacting with clients with a high emphasis on complete customer satisfaction. This individual will also document all work performed, recommendations, keep up with the inventory and cleanliness of the work van, and help in creating additional mobile service business. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, without any restrictions
- Three years of service technician experience - Ford experience and certifications desired, but not required
- Ability to interact with many different clients daily, at the highest level of customer satisfaction, with a customer-first mentality
- Self-starter that thrives in a solo and fast-paced work environment, completing tasks to a high level of precision
- Must be able to drive and maintain company equipment
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Mobile Service Coordinator and Parts Department in order to receive work to be completed
- Perform requested work as outlined on the repair order, off-site at customer’s location
- Perform light maintenance work, recalls as specified, and diagnosis of client’s vehicles
- Interact with many different clients daily, and provide excellent customer service
- Act as a brand ambassador to help grow the Mobile Service business
