We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Remote Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers in the Quincy area. You’ll work independently with a fully equipped service truck stocked with tooling provided by us, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service. This hands-on, mobile role involves:

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and welding (acetylene and arc)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve complex issues on-site utilizing strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturer’s service specifications
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently
  • Ability to use a computer efficiently for diagnostics, parts lookup, schematics, and work order maintenance
  • 2+ years of experience repairing heavy-duty vehicles or equipment, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Possess and maintain a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check

Nice To Haves

  • Background in agricultural equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems including computerized induction/ignition systems on heavy equipment
  • Performing inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Operation of vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and reports
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers
  • Conduct DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
