The Mobile Response Team Clinician is responsible for providing crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in community-based settings. This role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and a valid Florida driver's license. The clinician will assess clients, develop action plans, and collaborate with various community resources, including law enforcement and courts, to ensure effective crisis response services. The position emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care.

  • Assess clients in community-based situations as part of the Mobile Response Team.
  • Render appropriate diagnosis and action plans from assessment formulation.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for Mobile Response callers.
  • Document timely and accurately in electronic health records.
  • Collaborate with community resources, including law enforcement and courts.
  • Work crisis call-in phone lines and provide services during weekends as needed.
  • Participate in supervision and professional development activities.
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related social services field.
  • Registered licensed intern in the State of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT).
  • Two years of post-graduate practice in the mental health field (preferred).
  • Experience with severe and persistent mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience in assessment and crisis intervention.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and function as a reliable team member.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and auto liability insurance.
  • Experience working with youth disorders and family system interventions.
  • Professional clinical license or close to licensure considered.
