Serving adults, children and families, DLC provided more than 315,000 prevention, intervention and treatment services in the last year. Our NEW Mobile Crisis Response Team at DLC rapidly responds 24/7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, law enforcement, and other community members. This is a fast-paced environment where MRT Client Care Specialists work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and the MRT clinical staff to meet the needs of Clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach. Our Mobile Crisis Response Team provides elevated and modern Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder services. We are looking to select clinically strong but compassionately-focused professionals with relevant experience in community-based crisis intervention and triage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Health Care Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in related environment (mental health, group homes, prison, detention centers, etc.).
• Current and clear Florida Driver's License.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with and relating to a diversity of diverse cultural/social/economic backgrounds.
• Program implementation skills.
• Competency in age-related or specialty issues/developmental needs.
• Ability to effectively utilize available resources to ensure a comprehensive, holistic and integrated treatment approach that supports evidence-based practices.
• Well-founded clinical and risk management skills.
• Flexibility, accessibility, working after hours, including some weekends, to ensure accountability and integrity.
• Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal).
• Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations.
• Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience.

Responsibilities

• Responding to crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, triage duties and completing safety planning with individuals in crisis in the school, home and community.
• Provide support and coordination to clients, families and the MRT Clinical staff.
• Connecting individuals who need a more intensive level of Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder services to the appropriate resources within DLC and the community.
• Local travel including to/from multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or persons served, and within the community.
