NFI Onsite Mobile Refrigeration Technician Expectations & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues with mobile refrigeration units such as Carrier and Thermo King, using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of refrigerated trailers Welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment 608 EPA cert required Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment. Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • 608 EPA cert required for this position
  • Technical or advanced degree or equivalent maintenance experience
  • Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of equivalent maintenance experience

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues with mobile refrigeration units such as Carrier and Thermo King, using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
  • Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of refrigerated trailers
