About The Position

The position is within the NFI Division: Fleet Services, focusing on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical issues with mobile refrigeration units. The role requires performing preventive maintenance on a fleet of refrigerated trailers and may involve welding and fabrication as needed. The working schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• 608 EPA certification required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license.
• Technical or advanced degree or equivalent maintenance experience.
• 3-5 years of equivalent maintenance experience.
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, including lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more without restriction.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mobile refrigeration units.
• Familiarity with standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO and OEM Diagnostic Software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues with mobile refrigeration units such as Carrier and Thermo King.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the fleet of refrigerated trailers.
• Conduct welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment.
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines.
