About The Position

Leidos’ Defense Mechanical Design & Analysis Department is seeking a Mobile Radar Mechanical Design Engineer to join our tea m in Huntsville Alabama designing the next generation of sensors t o protect America and its allies . You will perform mechanical design of the Affordable Long-range Persistent Surveillance -Mobile product . You will use Solidwork s CAD software and Windchill PLM software daily to turn ideas into designs . Then you’l l work alongside the production team to turn your designs into hardware . You might be asked to help integrat e and install the hardware, and then you’l l work with the testing team to put your hardware in to action . This is not your average engineering position. You will work on a team of the most talented engineers in the region who push you to be better every day . Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
4 + years of applicable experience or 2 + years with MS degree.
Strong SolidWorks user
Active secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance
