About The Position

The Mobile Platforms & AI Integration Specialist is responsible for advancing Chico State's enterprise digital platforms, with a primary focus on mobile applications, system integrations, and emerging AI-enabled services. This hands-on role will champion and implement innovative digital experiences, designing, developing, and supporting seamless, user-centered solutions for students, faculty, and staff. The position will also prototype and deliver high-quality integrations and AI-driven use cases in alignment with campus priorities, collaborating across IT and functional teams to drive transformational digital solutions. The incumbent will build and integrate mobile platforms, enterprise systems, and applied AI solutions to deliver secure, accessible, user-centered digital services for students, faculty, and staff.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Modo Labs, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, Amazon SageMaker)
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, security, and data privacy in digital experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in higher education or comparable environments
