The Mobile Phlebotomist will be responsible for driving their personal vehicle to various client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to collect blood samples from patients. Key duties include following established phlebotomy procedures, accurately identifying patients, ensuring proper labeling and documentation of specimens, and transporting protected health information (PHI) according to policy. The role also involves organizing draw schedules, completing required records, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments. The phlebotomist must be available to respond promptly to assignments via a company-issued mobile device and will perform other duties as assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
