The Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute (HHRI) has a new opportunity for a Mobile Phlebotomist to support the research being conducted by clinician-investigator Dr. Kathrine Vickery at Hennepin Healthcare's HCMC. The Mobile Phlebotomist is a part-time position to work up to 4 hours per week with flexible scheduling. This is a four-year, grant funded position with the possibility of continued employment on other projects. The mobile phlebotomist will be responsible performing phlebotomies at participant homes and delivering specimens to the HCMC CSC lab for the D-HOMES study led by clinician-investigator Dr. Katherine Vickery. This study aims to support people experiencing homelessness to improve their overall wellness and diabetes management (hemoglobin A1c) through improved medication adherence and better use of community resources. The mobile phlebotomist will conduct approximately 5 phlebotomies a week at participants' homes and will also perform data entry and computer maintenance tasks, maintain adequate supplies, and collect other biometrics for participants at home including height, weight, and blood pressure.
