About The Position

Do you love hitting the road, meeting new people, and making a real impact every day? We are looking for a positive, dependable, and people-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team! If you are skilled in venipuncture, work independently, and enjoy delivering exceptional results, this position is for you! 2:00am - 10:00am, Monday through Friday. Traveling to long-term care facilities to collect various samples, and bring samples back to laboratory in Shawnee.

Requirements

Proficiency in venipuncture and a thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for various tests.
Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently resolve problems.

Responsibilities

Patient Sample Collection
Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules.
Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed.
Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff to ensure service satisfaction.
Communication and Customer Service
Communicate any current or potential customer issues within the assigned territory, offering suggestions for resolution.
Serve as a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of PHS laboratory services.
Address all service concerns and respond promptly to requests from staff and facilities.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage.
Assist with correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams.
Ensure proper documentation for sample collection and reporting.
Other Duties
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
