PharMerica is hiring a Mobile Pharmacy Technician in Horsham, PA. This role is within a closed-door pharmacy environment, focusing on meeting the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care and senior living clients. The company is an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, delivering personalized pharmacy care through dedicated local teams to various healthcare providers such as skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and hospitals. They also cater to individuals with behavioral needs, infusion therapy needs, seniors receiving in-home care, and patients with cancer. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable personal vehicle for travel
  • Ability to travel 60-70% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy technician certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution
  • Collects information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals
  • Measures, mixes, and labels medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Ensures accurate prescription preparation and dispensing
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries
  • Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals
