Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable personal vehicle for travel.
  • Ability to travel 60-70% of the time.
  • To perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking, typing on a keyboard with fingers and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders). The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 11-20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution
  • Collects information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals
  • Measures, mixes, and labels medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Ensures accurate prescription preparation and dispensing
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries
  • Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals
