About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Mobile Pediatric Echo Sonographer to support clinical trials conducted in patient homes. This role is responsible for performing high-quality pediatric echocardiograms in accordance with study protocols while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate has specialized experience in pediatric echocardiography, is comfortable working independently in a mobile environment, and is passionate about expanding access to clinical research for pediatric patients.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or RCS (for echo) with pediatric echocardiography experience
• 2+ years of clinical sonography experience, including pediatric patients
• Experience with portable ultrasound equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally
• Strong attention to detail and image quality
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner, especially with pediatric patients and families
• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments
• Time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms per protocol
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for centralized review
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with clinical research requirements
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
• Travel to patient homes to conduct visits
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
