About The Position

Northwest Connections is seeking Mobile Mental Health Crisis Workers to provide in-person crisis intervention and risk assessment for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Dodge County, Wisconsin. This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling, ideal for clinicians seeking supplemental income. This role operates under Wisconsin DHS 34 and Chapter 51 statutes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in mental health or behavioral health services (required)
  • Strong skills in crisis assessment, de-escalation, and decision-making
  • Ability to respond within 30–45 minutes to most locations in the county

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services–related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience considered in place of degree

Responsibilities

  • Respond on-call to mobile mental health crisis situations
  • Conduct mental health and suicide risk assessments
  • Provide crisis intervention and support least-restrictive response planning
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and community partners
  • Complete required clinical documentation
