As our Mobile Lube Technician / Mechanic, you’ll take on the challenge of maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will directly support our customers’ success by keeping their trucks running smoothly and maximizing uptime. Each day, you will work at customer locations and perform routine maintenance on heavy – duty trucks, including oil, filter and belt changes as well as DOT inspections. You will collaborate with the Parts and Service departments to coordinate the ordering of parts, process service billing, and communicate with customers regarding repair status and updates. Requirements

2 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks. Will also accept candidates with a Diesel tech degree and a mechanical aptitude/background.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self-motivation and assertiveness.
Ability to work under little or no supervision.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must provide own tools.

Nice To Haves

Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
Cummins and MX software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks
Performing routine maintenance on heavy – duty trucks, including oil, filter and belt changes as well as DOT inspections
Collaborating with the Parts and Service departments to coordinate the ordering of parts
Process service billing
Communicating with customers regarding repair status and updates
